We recently asked you to review the new dishes on our menu – and the results are in!
As you may know, we are now serving up an even bigger range of dishes at Simply Asia. To celebrate the new flavour experiences on our menu – all inspired by authentic Asian recipes – we ran a competition giving you a chance to win your share of 1 million Baht in Simply Asia vouchers (equivalent to around R500,000).
As part of the entry process, we asked you to try the new dishes on our menu and share a few details, including your feedback on the dishes themselves. We have to say – we were blown away by the amount of entries and reviews we received!

In no particular order, the Simply Asia dishes that you love are:
- Radish Cake (Dish 126):
Crispy deep-fried white radish cake served with sweet chilli sauce.
- Deep Fried Thai Tempura Prawns (Dish 127):
Prawn tails coated in prawn pate, then coated in tempura batter and deep fried. Served with plum sauce.
- Fried Rice Curry Sauce (Dish 330):
Jasmine fried rice with curry sauce, peppers, onion and spring onions.
- Fried Rice Tom Yum (Dish 331):
Jasmine fried rice with tom yum paste, lemongrass, garlic, roasted chili paste and lemon juice.
- Black Pepper Sauce Stir Fry (Dish 332):
Black pepper sauce stir-fry with peppers, onion and spring onions. Served with garlic fried rice.
- Linguine Green Curry (Dish 543):
Linguine pasta wokked with a combination of mixed peppers, onion, carrots and spring onion in a green curry and stir-fry sauce.
- Five Spice Ramen Noodle (Dish 544):
Thai five spices and fish sauce flavoured broth with fried garlic, bean sprouts, spring onion and celery. Topped with hard-boiled egg.
- Thai Spice Ramen Noodle (Dish 545):
Thai spice flavoured broth with fried garlic, bean sprouts, spring onion and ground peanuts. Topped with a hard-boiled egg.
- Crumbed Chicken in Tamarind Sauce (Dish 546):
Crumbed chicken dressed with a tamarind sauce and served with wokked noodles, broccoli and fried onions.
- Yaki Noodles (Dish 547):
Mushroom, carrots, onion, bean sprouts, cabbage and spring onions wokked with yaki sauce, topped with nori and sesame seeds.
*** In fact, Our Yaki Noodles dish was so popular, that four versions got high ratings – with chicken (as above), with beef, with seafood and with prawn! Now how does one choose?
