On Saturday the 15th of February 2020, a crowd of moonlight- and music-loving Capetonians came together for the annual Moonstruck Summer Beach Concert. For many of us, it was our once-in-a-year opportunity to dance under the stars on the soft sand of one of South Africa’s most beautiful Blue Flag Beaches.
Brought to Clifton 4th Beach by Simply Asia and Cape Talk, this free-to-attend event honoured some of our most loved and talented music icons of all time. Legendary music acts treated our guests to a selection of hit songs from the 80s that shaped our love for the music of that unforgettable decade.
As the sun dipped out of sight and the moon sailed up over the waves, Clifton 4th was transformed into a sea of swaying dancers and soft glowing candles. Soon, the heat of the day dissipated, and the air was filled with the gentle salty tang of ocean spray and the delicious aromas of Simply Asia’s authentic Asian cuisine.
