Our Songkran celebration has come to an end, we’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all our customers that helped us to give back this Thai New Year.
As many of you know, we ran a one month Songkran campaign where you could tuck into one of four delicious Thai noodle dishes to enjoy with a BOS Ice Tea for only R69, and with every meal sold we donated R3.25 to the Lunchbox Fund. We received a very generous response from our customers and because of this we were able to donate 31, 551 meals to the Lunchbox Fund.
We are incredibly proud to have supported this NGO who plays such an important role in our community by providing healthy meals to hungry, underprivileged children at schools; to give them the sustenance required to get through the day.
The Lunchbox fund aims to feed over 4-million children living below the poverty line. R2.50 is all it takes to provide a hungry child with a nutritious meal through the Lunchbox Fund. With all the funds raised over our Songkran campaign, Simply Asia aided them in achieving their goal.
